📝 The Short Version
  • Vision Packers and Movers is a professional moving company — we are responsible for your move end to end.
  • In some cities, your move is handled by our trained service partners — same standards, same accountability.
  • All payments come to Vision Packers — never to any sub-contractor directly.
  • Transit insurance is optional — you choose at booking time: take insurance or move at your own risk.
  • If damage occurs: with insurance the insurance company handles your claim; without insurance goods travel at your own risk and Vision Packers is not liable.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply when you use the website https://www.visionpackersandmovers.in or book any service with Vision Packers and Movers ("we", "us", "the Company"). By visiting our website, submitting a booking enquiry, or confirming a move with us, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree, please do not use our services. If anything is unclear, call us — we are happy to explain.

1. Who We Are

Vision Packers and Movers is a professional packing and moving company serving 85+ cities across India. We provide a full range of relocation services — home shifting, office shifting, car and bike transport, furniture moving, household storage, goods transport, and international relocation.

We operate in two ways depending on the city and service:

🚗 Own Operations (Major Cities)

We have our own trained crew and vehicles in major metro and tier-1 cities. Our staff handle your move directly under our supervision.

🤝 Service Partners (Other Cities)

In other cities, we work with trained and vetted service partners. They operate under our quality standards and supervision. You still deal with Vision Packers and Movers — we remain fully responsible.

Regardless of how your move is carried out, your contract is with Vision Packers and Movers. All payments come to us. All responsibility rests with us.

2. Eligibility

To book a move or use our website, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be the owner of the goods, or have the owner's written authorisation
  • Provide accurate and complete information in all forms and enquiries
  • Have a valid phone number where our team can reach you

If you are booking on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you have authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.

3. How the Booking Process Works

Here is exactly what happens after you contact us:

Step 1 — You Fill the Form or Call Us: You tell us your pickup location, delivery location, move date, and what needs to be moved (home size, car, office, etc.).

Step 2 — We Assess Your Requirements: Our team contacts you to understand your move better. For local moves, we may offer a free survey visit. For intercity moves, we may do a video call or ask for photos to estimate the volume of goods.

Step 3 — We Send You a Written Quote: We give you a detailed, itemised price before anything is confirmed. No hidden charges — what we quote is what you pay, unless you change your requirements.

Step 4 — You Confirm and Pay an Advance: You confirm the booking and pay a small advance to secure your move date. The advance amount and balance schedule is shared in the quote.

Step 5 — We Handle Your Move: Our team or service partner arrives on the scheduled date, packs your goods, loads, transports, unloads, and places items in your new location. The balance payment is typically collected on delivery.

4. Quotation and Pricing

Our quotes are prepared after understanding your specific requirements. Here is what you need to know about our pricing:

  • Written Quote: We always provide a written, itemised quote before you confirm a booking. This quote covers packing materials, labour, transportation, and any applicable taxes.
  • Price Lock: Once you confirm a booking with the advance payment, the quoted price is locked. We will not raise the price unless you add items or change the scope of the move.
  • GST Invoice: Every move comes with a proper GST invoice. We are a registered business and you are entitled to a legal bill for every rupee you pay us.
  • Price Estimates on Our Website: The price ranges shown on our city and service pages are market averages to give you a rough budget idea. Your actual quote may be different based on your specific goods, floor access, distance, and service type. Always get a written quote from us before finalising.
⚠️ Website estimates are indicative, not a confirmed price. Factors like actual volume of goods, floor access without a lift, special items, and seasonal demand can change the final price. Get a written quote from our team before making any decision.

5. Payments

All payments must be made to Vision Packers and Movers only. Never pay cash or transfer money directly to any crew member, driver, or service partner without a receipt from our company.

✓ Always Do This✕ Never Do This
Pay in two stages — advance to confirm, balance on deliveryPay 100% of the amount before the move has started
Collect a GST invoice for every paymentMake a large payment in cash without a written receipt
Verify our bank account details by calling our office before an online transferTransfer money to any number received via SMS or WhatsApp without calling us first
Read your invoice and check it matches the agreed quotePay extra charges on move day without a written reason

Accepted payment methods include bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/UPI), debit/credit card via our payment link, and cash (with receipt). For large moves, we recommend bank transfer for a clear payment record.

6. Transit Insurance — Choose at Booking Time

When you confirm your booking with us, you are given a clear choice:

🛡️ Option A — Take Transit Insurance
  • We arrange third-party goods-in-transit insurance for your move
  • Premium is calculated on the declared value of your goods and the move distance
  • You receive an insurance certificate before your move date
  • If goods are damaged or lost during the move, you file a claim directly with the insurance company
  • The insurance company — not Vision Packers — is responsible for settling the damage claim
⚠️ Option B — Move at Own Risk
  • You choose to move without transit insurance
  • No insurance premium is charged
  • If goods are damaged or lost during the move, Vision Packers and Movers is not liable for the loss
  • The risk of accidental damage during transit is entirely borne by you
  • Suitable for low-value goods or customers with their own all-risk policy
⚠️ Important: The choice between insurance and own risk must be made before the move begins. Once packing starts, the option cannot be changed. We strongly recommend taking transit insurance for electronics, furniture, antiques, artwork, and any goods valued above ₹20,000.

How Transit Insurance Works

  • Insurance is provided by a registered third-party insurance company — not by Vision Packers and Movers.
  • The policy is specifically a goods-in-transit policy covering accidental damage and total loss during transportation.
  • Coverage is based on the declared value of your goods as stated at the time of booking.
  • You receive a copy of the insurance certificate or policy document before your move date.
  • If damage or loss occurs, you submit a claim to the insurance company with our team's assistance in documentation (move date, goods list, photographs, delivery report).
  • The claim settlement decision — including amount and timeline — is made by the insurance company, not by us.

What Insurance Does Not Cover

  • Damage caused by inherent defect or pre-existing condition of the goods
  • Items you packed yourself in boxes without our team's involvement
  • Cash, jewellery, documents, and valuables unless specifically declared and included in the policy
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic scratches
  • Delay in delivery without physical damage to goods

For full details of what is covered and excluded, please read the insurance certificate provided with your booking.

7. Our Responsibility for Your Move (Excluding Damage Claims)

While damage claims are handled through insurance (or borne by you if you chose own risk), Vision Packers and Movers remains responsible for the quality and professionalism of the moving service itself:

  • Arriving on the agreed date and time
  • Providing adequately trained and equipped crew
  • Packing goods carefully using appropriate materials
  • Completing the move to the delivery address stated in the booking
  • Ensuring our service partners (where applicable) follow the same standards
  • Handling your complaint promptly if something goes wrong with the service

If there is a service failure (e.g., crew does not arrive, move is abandoned mid-way, unprofessional conduct), contact us immediately. We will take corrective action and you may be entitled to a refund of the service charges paid.

8. Prohibited Items

For legal, safety, and insurance reasons, we cannot move the following items:

  • Flammable or explosive items (LPG cylinders, fuel cans, fireworks)
  • Illegal or controlled substances of any kind
  • Live animals (we can advise on specialist pet relocation)
  • Human remains or ashes without proper documentation
  • Perishable food, plants, or items that spoil during transit
  • Confidential government or legal documents (without authorisation)
  • Items you cannot prove ownership of
  • Goods banned under Indian transport or customs regulations

Please inform us about any special, heavy, or unusual items (piano, large aquarium, safe, industrial equipment) at the time of booking so we can arrange the right equipment and expertise.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair:

When You CancelAdvance Refund
More than 7 days before the move dateFull refund of advance
3–7 days before the move date50% refund of advance
Less than 48 hours before the move dateNo refund (crew and truck already arranged)
Rescheduling (any time before 48 hours)No charge — we adjust your date free of cost

To cancel or reschedule, call us at +91-7691046787 or email [email protected]. Verbal cancellations are not accepted — please confirm in writing.

10. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

We always aim to be on time. However, circumstances beyond our control may occasionally cause delays:

  • Traffic jams, road closures, or highway accidents on long-distance routes
  • Extreme weather events (floods, heavy rain, storms)
  • Strikes, curfews, or government-imposed restrictions
  • Mechanical breakdown of the vehicle (we arrange an alternate truck as quickly as possible)

In such cases, we will proactively inform you of the delay and the revised delivery time. We are not financially liable for losses caused by delays due to such force majeure events, but we will always do our best to minimise the impact on your schedule.

11. Your Responsibilities

To help us carry out your move smoothly, please:

  • Provide accurate information about the volume and nature of goods, floor number, lift availability, and any access restrictions at both pickup and delivery locations
  • Ensure all goods are ready to pack on the agreed move date — delays caused by goods not being ready may attract waiting charges
  • Disclose any special or fragile items in advance so we can bring the right materials
  • Be present (or have an authorised representative present) at both pickup and delivery
  • Obtain any required society or building NOC for moving trucks — our team cannot force access
  • Inspect your goods carefully on delivery and report any damage before signing the delivery receipt

If inaccurate information leads to additional costs (e.g., more goods than quoted, no lift when one was stated), we reserve the right to revise the price with your agreement before proceeding.

12. Service Quality and Complaints

We are committed to providing a professional, courteous, and careful service. If something does not meet your expectations:

  • On move day: Call our customer care immediately at +91-7691046787 — we can often resolve issues in real time.
  • After the move: Email your complaint with photos and details to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. We will acknowledge within 24 hours and investigate within 7 working days.
  • Unresolved complaints: If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you can approach the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or your district Consumer Forum.

  • Post abusive, defamatory, or harassing content through our contact channels
  • Violate any Indian law or applicable regulation in your use of our services

15. Our Limitation of Liability

Vision Packers and Movers is responsible for delivering a professional moving service. Our liability is limited as follows:

  • Damage to goods: We are not liable for damage to or loss of goods during transit, whether or not you chose transit insurance. If you took insurance, your claim is with the insurance company. If you chose own risk, the loss is borne by you.
  • Pre-existing damage: We are not liable for damage that existed before the move began. Photograph your goods before packing to document their pre-move condition.
  • Self-packed items: We are not liable for damage to items packed by you in boxes our team did not pack or inspect.
  • Force majeure delays: We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control (see Section 10).
  • Consequential losses: We are not liable for business losses, lost income, hotel costs, or other indirect losses arising from a delayed or disrupted move.
  • Service failure refund: If Vision Packers fails to perform the booked service (crew no-show, move abandoned), you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid to us for that service.

16. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By agreeing to these Terms, you also accept our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gurgaon, Haryana. We will always try to resolve complaints informally first — please contact us before initiating any legal proceedings.

18. Changes to These Terms
